Description

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has designated this contract as Best-in-Class (BIC). 8(a) STARS III, a small business set-aside GWAC, provides flexible access to customized IT solutions. The 8(a) STARS III GWAC:

  • Expands capabilities for emerging technologies
  • Supports both outside of the continental United States (OCONUS) and CONUS requirements
  • Features limited protestability up to $10M, and
  • Offers expert guidance from the GSA team, including free scope review services and market research

Directed Task Orders

8(a) STARS III allows directed task order awards for orders under $4.5 Million, including options. Orders more than $4.5 Million must be competed among all the industry partners in Main Scope or one of the two sub-areas you choose.

Description

The ITES-3S contract includes a full range of services and solutions necessary for the Army to satisfy its support of Army Enterprise infostructure and infrastructure goals with IT services throughout CONUS and OCOUNS locations, including warzone areas. The scope includes the Command, Control Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) requirements as defined in Army Regulations 25-1 (AR-25-1). Additionally, ITES-3S includes the services and solutions necessary for the Army and other services to transition from current service-centric information environments to the enterprise Joint Information Environment (JIE) as directed by the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO).

On February 2, 2021 the Department of Army issued a Memorandum to support the National Defense Strategy objective to reform the Department of Defense for greater performance and affordability. In doing so they deemed the Army's CHESS program as the mandatory source for the purchase of commercial IT services. Purchasers of commercial IT services must satisfy their requirements by utilizing the CHESS contracts first, regardless of dollar value or appropriation. Any purchase for commercial IT services made outside of the CHESS contracts requires a CHESS Statement of Non-Availability (SONA) and a waiver from the IT Approval System (ITAS).

  • SIN 518210C: Cloud Computing and Cloud Related IT Professional Services includes commercially available cloud computing services such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) and emerging cloud computing services. IT professional services that are focused on providing the types of services that support the Government's adoption of, migration to, or governance/management of cloud computing. Specific cloud related IT professional labor categories and/or fixed-price professional services solutions (e.g., migration services) that support activities associated with assessing cloud solutions, refactoring workloads for cloud solutions, migrating legacy or other systems to cloud solutions, providing management/governance of cloud solutions, DevOps, developing cloud native applications, or other cloud oriented activities are within scope of this SIN.
  • SIN 611430: Professional and Management Development Training includes offering an array of short duration courses and seminars for management and professional development. Training for career development may be provided directly to individuals or through employers' training programs, and courses may be customized or modified to meet the special needs of customers. Instruction may be provided in diverse settings, such as the establishment's or agency's training facilities, and through diverse means, such as correspondence, television, the Internet, or other electronic and distance-learning methods. The training provided may include the use of simulators and simulation methods. Proposed professional services shall be in support of planning, creating, and/or executing testing and test administration, learning management, internship, or development of new courses or subject matter delivered via an instructor-led (i.e. traditional classroom setting or conference/seminar) and/or web-based (i.e. Internet/Intranet, software packages and computer applications) system; and much more in the training field.

Corinth is the Protégé in the SBA Mentor-Protégé Relationship with Solutions By Design II, LLC. Through this relationship we have created an 8(a) Joint Venture Axyis, LLC which has been awarded GSA MAS until January 3, 2027 (Base Period). As an SBA approved 8(a) Joint Venture this entity is eligible to receive sole source awards up to $4.5M.
